Party at Mother's Morning Out

Check out this picture!!!!! The girls dressed up for Mother's Morning Out on Thursday. They said they had fun, but don't they look grumpy? The teacher said that while she was taking the picture, there was commotion behind her and that is what the girls were focused on. Oh my, this picture still made me laugh.

Welcome Demitri Marciano

Demitri Marciano made his grand entrance into this world on 10/28/2008 at 9:12 am after a labor of 2 hrs and 45 minutes. He is 7 lbs, 8 oz and 20 1/2 inches. Nice size baby.

The Florence Fair

Billy took the girls to the Florence Fair on Saturday. He had to go alone because I did not sleep good the night before and felt awful. The girls had so much fun riding on all the rides.

A Sushi Adventure

Last night we had dinner with Billy's boss and his wife. They are friends of ours too... Anyway, we went to a sushi bar in Florence (http://www.miyamisteakhouse.com/index.html). They took Billy there back in Jan when I was still in PA with the girls and this was my first time. Oh, I want more sushi!!! We started with soup that had a chicken broth base with sea weed, scallions, and mushrooms. Next was a salad with ginger dressing...yum! We had some appetizers - dumplings and egg rolls - both I actually ate with chop sticks. Then was the 'sushi boat' (literally). The sushi came out on a boat that sat on the table. I had raw tuna, salmon, squid, eel, and mackerel. It all was so good! We drank green tea all night. We also had some green tea ice cream, sauteed soft shell crab (you eat the whole crab!!!!), and soy beans. The meal was amazing and I want to go back.

The funniest part of the meal was the waitress. She was a 'nut'. She was Japanese and most of the time I could not understand her. She would literally run from table to table to get orders and shake her head and hands like mad.

My Belly

So here is my 9 month pregnant belly. I am 2.5 cm dilated and boy am I ready to get him out!!!! The doc says Demitri is about 6.5-7lbs...could be my smallest baby!!!! Alessandra weighed in at 7 lbs 1/2 oz and Isabella at 7 lbs 13 oz.

MomMom and PopPop sent some presents for Demitri and the girls had fun opening them.

Isabella decided she was going to change her diaper. She even got the wipes out. We tried to do some potty training, but she just pees all over.

Our Porch Guest

So, we have this huge spider living on our front porch. He/She will spin her web every night. One night we saw her spin her web. It was really neat. We call her a she because Alessandra calls her Charlotte's web. Alessandra is really fascinated by her. We keep her because there are so many bugs and mosquitoes.
