The old kitchen...

After 1 and 1/2 years living in the house, we finally remodeled the kitchen. Everything was original to when the house was built about 15 yrs ago. So, I took some before, during, and after pictures of the progress.

The Finish Product

I was able to get a close up of the counter tops and floors. The counter tops are laminate, but looks like granite. We really like the way it looks. My first choice was not white cabinets. I chose them because it keep the cost more in our budget. However, I am very pleased with the way it turned out!

The kids new toy...

We got a trampoline for the kids to play on. ALL the kids are playing on it today. When Alessandra and Isabella are on alone, they run around in a circle. When Daddy is on with them, they have lots of fun with him jumping. You know, it only took Billy and I about a week to put it all together. I don't want to put another one together!!!!!

Dr Appt...

Just an update...

I went for a regular doc appointment today and everything looks great! The heart beat was good and strong. I am 14 weeks and only have 26 weeks to go!!!! I will have another ultrasound in about 6 weeks. I actually felt the baby move yesterday at church...the sermon must have hit a chord with the baby!

Alessandra's hair is long enough to put in pig tails! Her pig tails are short and curly, but I am able to get her hair in.

Alessandra and the water...

Alessandra loves the water. It did not take her long at all to get use to it. She actually wanted to go in deeper and deeper.

When Isabella first went to the beach, she did not like it. The water started to come up to her toes and she turned around, ran away, and was yelling "NO" at the same time. By the end of the weekend, she was enjoying the ocean.

We went to the beach this past weekend. The girls had lots of fun. These sticks really kept them occupied.

Happy Birthday Alessandra!

Alessandra had a birthday party one afternoon after Mother's Morning Out. She was really excited to play with her friends, eat pizza and cake, and open presents. Her cake had her favorite - disney princeses. She was really excited that everyone was singing happy birthday to her!

On Saturday 4/12, her birthday, we spent at home eating ice cream and setting fire works off in the back yard. Billy got some bigger fireworks than what he usually gets for her. The usual is little ones that shoot sparkles into the air like a fountain. This time, he got three that shot high
up into the air and were beautiful! We waited for Isabella to go to bed since she is afarid of the fireworks. We had lots of fun watching.
