We had Isabella's picture taken at Olan Mills since I had a coupon and here are the results. It took a long time to get these because she was not in the best mood, but she finally did smile.

Fireworks!

Alessandra loves fireworks. We get some that are low to the ground - the best ones are the fountains - don't make much noise, but are very pretty. She gets all excited and claps for them. Isabella is not sure if she likes them or not. She doesn't like the noise that much.

Getting into Trouble

Isabella is getting into everything!!! She is taking a few steps here and there. She will pull herself up, balance herself, and take a step, then fall. She has been pulling out the outlet covers - Like I said - into everything!!!

In the Pool

We spent some time playing in the pool. I was trying to teach Alessandra how to blow bubbles in the pool, but she does not quite get that she should not swallow the water! She drank lots of water. Isabella still enjoys a pool full of bubbles...I love it too because she gets a bath at the same time.

A Fantastic Find!!!!

One of my Dad's great finds!!! Trash to treasure! Can you guess where he found it?? You got it - someone was throwing it away. So, Mom and Dad fixed it up for the girls - sanded it, put rub ons with their names, the alpahbet, Tinker Bell, the beach, and flowers, and put a finish on it. Alessandra loves it and when Isabella can sit on it, she will love it too!

Isabella is now tall enough to reach up on the dining room table. This night she was determined to get those candles. And she was successful. She willingly gave them to me when she got them.

A New Swing Set

One evening we went to have dinner at a youth pastor's house and his wife who are a few years younger than us. Well, this swing set was at their house and we had a hard time getting Alessandra off of it when it was time to leave. They generously gave us the swing set and the girls are having a blast on it.

A Bath Outside!!!!!

I decided to bring a bottle of baby soap out while the girls were playing in the pool and made a big bubble bath. They had so much fun in the bubbles. Daddy and Bucky had to get in the act too!

A New Look

Billy grew a beard!!!! I love it and think it looks great. What do all of you think?

Bare Bottoms

Since we have been working with
Alessandra on the potty, she has not had any bottoms on. Isabella, well, she is a different story. I was changing her diaper and she rolled over and crawled out to the living room to play. I got both of them playing in the living room crawling around with their bare bottoms.

It's Potty Time

Alessandra has been going on the potty since we came back. Thurs (7/19) was the first day she did not have any accidents in the house. She did everything on the potty and she just went without us asking her if she had to go. Now, we need to work with her when we go out of the house. When she has a pull up on, she tends to just go in the pull up and not on the potty. Well, we will just keep working with her.
