Can you believe Alessandra took this picture of me? She loves using the camera, but she does not always aim right - there are plenty of pictures of the floor and random things, but she actually got me.

Frog Anyone?

Alessandra loves looking for frogs. One evening we had about 5 frogs hopping around. Alessandra loved it! She loves chasing the frogs to pick them up. The frogs did hop away once she left them go, but who knows how long they lived afterwards!


She still does not always want to give up that nukie! One day, they just might find their way into the trash can!

Easter Carolina Agricultural Fair

We went to the fair on Saturday. Alessandra enjoyed holding the real money - not a stuffed animal! We all had lots of fun on the rides, looking at all the animals, and going to the petting zoo.

The Petting Zoo

Here is the petting zoo. They had some strange animals there that I think were untypical of a Petting Zoo, but the girls loved looking at them...so did Billy and I.

Fun Rides

Alessandra had so much fun on the rides. Alessandra and Daddy went on so many rides together. Daddy actually started to feel sick in the stomach because of all the rides. Alessandra went from ride to ride. Isabella wanted to go on all the rides Alessandra went on. We did take her on this one ride and felt so bad afterwards because Isabella got so scared. She had the look of terror on her face, gripped the lap rail with hands so hard her nail beds turned white...she did not cry the whole ride, but had the look of relief when the ride stopped. I was almost in tears by the time the ride stopped because of how scared Isabella was.

We wore the girls out after the fair. They had so much fun and fell asleep in record time (had to be less than a minute!)

Yes, it has been too long since I posted some pics of the girls. They are growing so fast. Isabella is now walking instead of crawling. Alessandra is trying to keep all her stuff out of Isabella's mouth...everything ends up in Isabella's mouth!!!

We had Isabella's picture taken at Olan Mills since I had a coupon and here are the results. It took a long time to get these because she was not in the best mood, but she finally did smile.

Fireworks!

Alessandra loves fireworks. We get some that are low to the ground - the best ones are the fountains - don't make much noise, but are very pretty. She gets all excited and claps for them. Isabella is not sure if she likes them or not. She doesn't like the noise that much.

Getting into Trouble

Isabella is getting into everything!!! She is taking a few steps here and there. She will pull herself up, balance herself, and take a step, then fall. She has been pulling out the outlet covers - Like I said - into everything!!!

In the Pool

We spent some time playing in the pool. I was trying to teach Alessandra how to blow bubbles in the pool, but she does not quite get that she should not swallow the water! She drank lots of water. Isabella still enjoys a pool full of bubbles...I love it too because she gets a bath at the same time.

A Fantastic Find!!!!

One of my Dad's great finds!!! Trash to treasure! Can you guess where he found it?? You got it - someone was throwing it away. So, Mom and Dad fixed it up for the girls - sanded it, put rub ons with their names, the alpahbet, Tinker Bell, the beach, and flowers, and put a finish on it. Alessandra loves it and when Isabella can sit on it, she will love it too!
